New Google+ Features. Bye Bye Picasa?

It looks like the new features on Google+ are also aiming to replace Picasaweb. A complete, extensive photo editor was added in Google+ Photos. This could point to the nearing end of Picasaweb. It got rumored for long that the photo service will soon be replaced or renamed.

Besides that, "hot topics" is now available on the left side selection menu.
Another new feature is the "Ripples" feature in the drop-down menu on each post. It shows an impressive graphical overview of the sharing-history of an article.
