ScribeFire For Chrome in My Hands

By the amount of postings and the countless blogs I'm participating in, I thought it would be a good idea to try out the ScribeFire Next.

Unbelievable that it has been around for so long, not recognized by me. Maybe it's because I had a very early version of it in use with Firefox, and it wasn't satisfying at all. Now lets give it another try on Chrome.

The embedding of images is not what I want. No drag'n drop, other than what Chrome already offers. That means drop a file on the "choose file" dialog. There is no preview before you add it. Bummer. Worst of all, you can not choose a picture from Picasa Web Albums, but enter the URL directly. That's not acceptable and it would increase the amount of time searching for a picture.

The double line on ENTER doesn't appeal to me. I don't want a paragraph when hitting enter, I want ENTER :). Post Splitter appears on the top bar only when in Fullscreen mode. Why?

So by that time I'm frustrated enough to say, that it's not for me.
It has all the basic blog functions, but so does Blogger do with a lot of more features. It's quick and might be a real alternative for Wordpress e.g. But Blogger has a very good stock editor and offers more functions.
ScribeFire is worth a look nonetheless.
